Grants for Education
Most non-profit organizations and foundations have scholarships for prospective college students. Scholarship sourcing may come from labor unions, volunteer organizations, U.S. Governments, local chapters of professional societies, charity organizations, church, school-based endowments, university grands, etc. You may also find other sources of information on scholarships at a library, in newspapers, etc.
The U.S. government offers various financial aid packages and options – Federal Pell grants, Federal SEOG grants, SSIG grants, etc. To apply for any of these options, a student should file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as FAFSA.
